Contributor agreement / contract

This is a contract between the contributing photographer and JustWorldPhoto.org (JWP)/Future in our hands, Norway. The photographer/artist must confirm that she or he has read, understood and agreed to this contract before uploading any photos, videos, illustrations to justworlphoto.org. If the photographer has any questions he or she should contact JWP on support@justworld.org.

JWP holds the right to at any time to modify these terms, and thereafter to notify you by an announcement to your e-mail address. If you do not agree to new terms you may remove the photos that you don't want the changes to apply for.

Compensation

• JWP agrees to pay 80 % to the contributors from each sale to clients. This will include bank transfer fees, taxes and VAT. The contributor is responsible to produce an invoice issued to JWP with necessary payment information and in accordance with the stated sales in your account page on the JWP website. The contributor will be paid through a bank transfer, PayPal or by other means when agreed with JWP in advance.
• Contributors agree to let partner non-profit organizations that co-operate with JWP use the contributions (photos, videos, illustrations) without compensation. Contributors also agree to giving discounts to non-profit environmental and development NGOs that not are partners with JWP.

License

• When the contributor upload content to www.justworldphoto.org he or she, grants a non-exclusive license to JWP. The uploaded content will thereafter be sub-licensed to JWP partners and costumers according to the JWP Costumer Agreement.
• The uploaded content will not be sub-licensed to sub-agents.
• The license does not include copyright for any content and will not provide copyright to any third party.
• The full rights to the uploaded content are retained by the contributor, and the contributor has the full right and responsibility to and for the content.
• JWP may use accepted content for its own marketing purposes relating to the promotion of the Site and its distribution programs.

Content

• Editorial content can include logos, trademarks, publicly known persons, buildings, artwork and the like. JWP only distributes editorial content. Editorial content must not break rights of privacy.
• JWP reserves the right to delete, move or refuse to accept any content provided by the contributors at any time.
• JWP is not responsible for any damages caused by the use or inability to use the content uploaded. It is the contributors' responsibility to uphold copyrights and challenges from third party.
  

General

• You agree to hold JWP harmless from any claims concerning the recording, upload, publishing, use of the Content, that have been breached by you, the Supplier.
• The Suppliers are themselves responsible for paying any applicable taxes relevant as a result of payments from JWP
• The Supplier warrants that the uploaded Content does not contain computer damaging material, such as virus and the like.
• JWP users (including contributors and buyers) may not misuse or exploit the systems or features at www.justworlphoto.org in any way. JWP reserves the right to determine what constitutes misuse or exploitation, and to ban and/or take legal action against members found to be in breach of this rule.
• JWP and the contributor agree and commit themselves to follow the code of business conduct.
• Any dispute should first be attempted solved between the parties involved, if unsuccessful, the legal venue will be Oslo City Court, Norway.
• You affirm that you have full legal capacity to sign this Agreement.
• This Agreement is personal to you and is binding upon your heirs, executors and legal representatives.
• This Agreement remains in full force and effect until terminated by either party.
• By ticking the correct box at the end of this Agreement you admit to have read, understood and accepted the terms.
